it forces down the cost of goods, but we also earn less money, so it's still bad in many cases.
Like for example farming, the farming equipment you need is so expensive that you'd either have to go into massive debt to afford it or come from a family that already owns it.
And even if you manage to get started there's barely any money in it...
so in many cases automation digs us deeper into a hole despite increased production
