@tylerbryden thanks Tyler! Where has the year gone! In a flash, which is a reminder that 1) we’ll adapt and normalize quickly and 2) it’s easy for another year to pass with no clear controls in place to ensure the ‘good’ outpaces the bad. In the infosec space, there is little doubt that intrusion deflection and detection will need to be 100% AI-powered as intrusions are increasingly AI-powered. The only thing in the ‘positives’ column right now is that there is broad coordination among ethicals and competing interests among unethicals. But state-sponsored unethical ai hacking has much more power and budget than does state-sponsored ai ethical - it’s falling largely upon corporations and the industry-at-large.
IMHO, THIS is the single biggest existential crisis being fought in AI today.
