@daraghokane4236 That's an inherant misunderstanding of how the tech works. You show it ten thousand pictures of dogs and say "this is a dog." You also show it pictures of cats and say "this is not a dog." The GAN "learns" what elements make a dog and what doesn't, then can build those elements out of pure visual noise when told "make a picture of a dog."
I used to work for a portrait photography studio. When I started, a coworker who'd been there years said "I think our photos look nicer than the competitor's." I compared the two and couldn't see any difference. But after I'd worked for them for a while and seen thousands of my company's photos, I _was_ able to recognize them. I couldn't tell you what specific elements made them distinct--the exact shade of the backdrop, the focal length of the camera, etc.--but I unconsciously learned what they looked like. _That's_ what AI image generators mimic.
