The only problem is that the public can only be informed. Objectively I dont think we have any democratic power to eventually influence/ stop anything that has been already decided at high level, and with AI it is like to ve willing to stop a track launched high speed with no breaks...
The problem is that the human being gas never been able to forseen the consequences of their actions and decisions, hence the caos..
