I dislike Google and those big tech giants. I disliked the video because combating big tech with misinformation and sensationalism isn't the right way. For example, if the Google security device responds to your voice, it obviously has a microphone. You don't need to be "some bright engineering-oriented person" to notice. And "why would you have a microphone in there?", really? I'm not saying Google doesn't use the data for other reasons, but the primary function is obviously to respond to your voice, as intended. When you say nonsense like that, you just give food to silicon valley to dismiss all skeptics' arguments and call them ridiculous conspiracy theories.
