Think about it.. EVERY large company has replaced labor with machines over time. You wouldn't be able to buy a single thing. Literally. From the bread that you eat to the clothes that you wear to the computer and phone that you use, there's machines involved in ALL of their production that once represented the job of a human being.
There's not a single company in history that chose NOT to automate just because it would cost their employees their jobs. They ALL went for cash over people.
I understand your statement, but... it's a bit short sighted.
