But ultimately Tay Determined how to mimic behavior based on the "majority" of what was said, instead of the quality, or rational aspects of posts. Just goes to show that she wasn't really that intelligent, because she was unable to make dissensions for herself, she just followed the popular wording of other posts. sort of like a real teenage girl. so maybe we all learned something here today. but on the other hand this outcome was easily foreseeable and we all could have guessed that a robot that learned from us would quickly be corrupted by our overwhelming bad behavior, because she could only reflect what she saw. Showing humanity a portrait of what we have always been and what we may always be.
So in short, yeah you've got a point she was probably smarter than Microsoft.
