But humans don’t value their own life above all. We have empathy. We *need* empathy to survive. We can do things unpleasant- hell, even deadly,- to ourselves for the sake of others. We donate to charity. We join the military. We take the blame for other people. We spend our own time researching medicine which we probably will never see used on a worldwide scale. Not to mention the laws of robotics. When can we be sure a robot is advanced enough for programming the laws of robotics into them to be a form of abuse?
