Those who use AI generators should not be called artists. If you want, there is plenty of slang to call them, but if you want to be technically correct you should be calling them commissioners.
If you think about it, they are doing the same thing as when you tell an artist what you want made... except there was no heart put into the product and the "work" has no value.
