Today’s commercial AI can’t “have experiences”. Having an experience implies that the “brain” modifies itself based on the experience. While in theory today’s commercial AIs can be retrained in real time based on your conversation with them, that would be impossibly expensive. Very few people will have the money to pay for such personalized AI. All commercial AIs are a frozen brain running and rerunning billions of user inputs. Regurgitating conversation history in compressed tokens back into the frozen brain for the next response does not constitute an experience, I think.
