To be clear, this doesn’t prevent AI from being involved in copywritten media. (Look more into this guys)
Big studios can still push for AI use in their media AND copyright it so long as the courts deem that there was “meaningful human involvement.”
So I’m sure the use cases will vary but I wouldn’t get too excited. Here’s hoping this is going to help keep art alive.
