I find it odd that the potential ecological limits to AI are rarely discussed. How can AI accelerate and expand infinitely on a planet with finite (and, in many cases, increasingly scarce) resources? Are we assuming that AI will somehow solve every ecological problem and every resource limitation? If anyone has good information on this topic I would love to see it.
