If there really is no visible difference between painting generated by a human and a painting generated by a mashine, then there is no difference - it doesn't matter who or what made it. And if you really like to draw, you still can, no technology can stop you. And if there is no real difference in the final product, then AI being milion times faster gonna be milion times cheaper, so human artist won't get any money (so nothing new, right?). The only real problem is, AI Corps are stealing intelectual properties and making crazy amount of money from that with literally nothing to stop them. But Evil Corps being evil is nothing new as well. So to me it shows that, yeah, there is a big problem, but artists, being egocentric as always, tends to focus on themselves, as always, and not the problem. On the other hand, when you publish something you've created, you release your artpiece into the world and allow everyone to do with it whatever they are pleased to do: like it, don't like it, admire you skills or the opposite, copy your art, claim it's theirs, be insipred, hate it, not care about, etc. into the infinity. So the bottom line is, if AI art will become as good as humans, then human artists as a job for living will dissapear, the same way like stenotypists and "calculating girls" has dissapeared when modern computers become widely available. But human artists as an artists following their passion you'll gonna be as fine as your are now. As mathematicians are still here, even though computers are biilions times better at calculating things.
