i think aimlessness is actually a big reason for people cheating with ai too. the job market is terrible, i’m getting majors in engineering, music, and a certificate in chinese and it’s still so difficult for half of the people ik to secure any kind of internship. my friends are hard working people ik fs (they wouldn’t be studying what they are if they gave up easily lol) but ofc people want to check their answers/processes with ai bc their grades are on the line and sometimes even bigger like eligibility for grad/med school. others i think just see no hope bc the job market is terrible, housing prices are insane, and people don’t want/have time to worry about starting families when they can hardly do anything with minimum wage in this economy. the system is against all of us
