It's not healthy behavior for traditional artists to blindly hate and shame ALL AI artists either. There are people that just want to have fun and make their own art with it, too. Believe it or not there are many ORIGINAL and creative works that exist because of AI art. Style is only one part of an artwork, though I can understand the hate on people that aren't creative with it at all and exclusively use it to plagiarize your art style and content and sell it, especially when it's unique and easily recognizable.Just keep in mind that those people are a small minority and most AI artists do it for the craft/fun. Artist tags are quite controversial even in the AI art community but it's debatable whether art style should be copyrightable or not because there are many real artists that have similar art styles. If it was restricted it would cause a lot of issues and restrict EVERYONE'S creativity. I personally don't use artist tags much and even when I do I heavily doubt you could tell who the artist was even if you knew. And yes I insist on calling them AI artists because they are artists, too. I hate uncreative people that steal rather than create just as much as you do but it's completely wrong to think that they are all the same. It's like comparing an artist with someone that traces or reposts. I'm curious how Sam would react if there was someone that copied his style without AI. Would he be as frustrated? Maybe there should be a license system like with copyrighted music for art, if it was used as a tag in a prompt on a paid service and/or sold somewhere it automatically gives the artist some % of the $$$ it cost, it would be passive income for the artists without them having to do anything.
