While I agree that research and design are going to be greatly augmented by AI, I think your definition of UX is too narrow. If a creative director is a 1, because it can get messy, and there are a lot of details to sort out, then I think UI/UX should also be a 1 as well. It is messy. So so messy. If you don't think that it is, you're only looking at UX folks who are primarily focused on content. User Experience is by nature the broadest of all the categories mentioned, encompassing them all. Yes, even packaging is part of the user journey. All interactions are part of UX, and UI is not just design of screens, it will involve any kind of interaction you can imagine, from voice control, and soon neural control. So a 3? Not if UX people are truly doing their homework. We all need to greatly evolve in the next 5 years. Those who don't want to, yes 3 fits that.
