It's actually frightening how quick some people are to just turn off their brains and let a machine do all their thinking for them, from generating 'art' to even writing their youtube comments. I think a lot of young or beginner artists get frustrated because they think their problem is that they're bad at art and can't improve, when the real problem is that they're not developing and studying their own natural style. Sometimes a simple style swap is all a new artist needs to get over whatever obstacle is in their way. For example, in school I was decent at drawing manga and anime, but I wasn't great, I wasn't the best and I wasn't on the level of a lot of younger digital artists at the time. I have since picked up the pencil again and completely changed my style, drawing a style that's new and fresh and more authentic to me, and I'm drawing better than I ever did as a teen. If you're frustrated and trying to improve your skill, it could be a sign that it's time to change things up. Don't be afraid to experiment! But leave ai out of it!
