If you imagine being a king or a queen and commissioning a painter to paint your portrait, and then giving commands like "make me look fairer" or "add shine to my jewelry", the painter still painted the picture. Just like it's still AI that generated an image through someone's prompts, except the data to make it comes from artists who never agreed their art to be used as data fed for AI.
