The new global scam of the IT industry. The AI. These moneymaking machine companies has to overhype something over and over again just to grab the attention. Good or bad news, doesn't matter, just have the publicity to cheat out money. Who remembers now the Web 2.0, which ''will change the world'', ended as personalized spams, ads and data phishing everywhere, or the decades long next-gen marketing (next-gen mobile, next-gen laptop, etc.) while the performance overall became worse than decades ago. The social-media hype, anybody? How the IT industry sold it as ''it will makes a better society'' ended as making whole generations IT unliterate social zombies (can't even switch on a PC and can't do other on their mobile just scrolling up and down). The same pattern again. As the Nobel-prize winner physicist George Penrose (and many other scientist) said AI is very misleading. It's not intelligence, because it's not conscious and can't think. You can see it's already an overhyped scam. What's is used for mostly? The Google gives a very generic, almost useless answer to the searches? Or the internet users flood stupid AI pictures and videos?
