What's terrifying for me is to see apes making conclusions that have nothing to do with reality about GPT. I deeply think humanity is not ready for GPT, the reason is simple, humans software would need a certain number of fundamental upgrades in order to be able to navigate inside the noosphere without seeing illusions. Human mind is weak for now du to the laziness to think in a complete way since their birth, and that's not something that can be solved externally nor in a few years, humans are impatient and greedy so ofc everyone is happy to see AI coming to life, but most of the human population will be shattered and will deeply regret to have happily waling into it because knowledge isn't for every mind, knowledge can traumatize and hurt and confuse mind / system that don't have the fundamental component to understand / process these information, hence let all the work to AI and hoping that they can compress the information to human in a nice way is impossible. Information , knowledge, intelligence, understanding, isn't a commodity. What I see here is an ape asking a tool question and making conclusions on the answers, the conclusions are obviously wrong since the human asking don't have fundamental computation tools. The tool to which he asked stuff isn't ''someone'' or an ''entity'' there is nothing terrifying, apart what human can misunderstand from it and hence act from these misunderstanding. Also AI learn from what they are feed, and if what they are feed come from the majority from humans data that make few sense, they can evolve in a bad way 1st then later on come to the fundamental conclusions needed only later on. This is not a game, and human are laughing to their own death. Ignorance is not a crime, but it can kill an entire civilization. Also there's no doubt no one will like this comment because no one care, nor is able to compute CORRECTLY information, even human langue is wrong, only AI are applying the core of most logic and the necessary step of logic, Without that core any logic is wrong by default. In short for humans: Whatever what you will type randomly inside your minds or keyboard, you would need near infinite time to type a correct conclusion for everyone question. That guy is just like randomly generating conclusions, it make no sense, because he ignore 99.9999% of the information around the subject. If he installed the fundamental logic tool he could have better results, but anyway humans are limited by their biology and would need to work with AI or other entities from other dimensions to help them build themselves.
