Central Texas is having a historic drought. They're looking at having to close the river outflow from a key reservoir within the next few month which would destroy one of the rivers that fuels both ecosystems and a significant portion of the tourism industry. We've been on the highest-stage drought restrictions for a year, because the aquifers are at too low of water pressure to fuel the springs....and they're fighting to get a water-expensive data center built.😖
