This is what bothers me so much. AI had the power to be a such a great tool. Yet people don't realize its shortcomings of being more agreeable than truthful, and the list of eight million other issues, not to mention lack of safeguards etc etc.... I hate AI in that, I hate what we've done with it. So much potential, and people just use it to replace having to think, and wind up in horrible situations like these. But the vast majority can't differentiate something thinking *with* them, vs thinking *for* them.
