I speak English and French... both quite well... I have tested LLM ' translators 'of these two simple languages. The translations were full of major errors. LLM 'translators' have no 'common sense' i.e. no experience' of the real physical world.
I ran a translation company and had a contract to translate technical documents
produced in French by a French nuclear technology company to be used by Ukrainian/Russian technicians and Engineers in Chernobyl. Do you think we used machine translation?
