It’s not storing the data, if you know anything about LLMs it’s all probability and in this case if you ask it to quote an article or anything public for that matter it has access to it via live web search functionality. Though there is zero way a jury would understand the math behind this and would presume that it just “exists” in some server. It’s absolutely fair use as the data(times articles) were used to make a model which again DOES NOT STORE THE ARTICLES, it creates essentially an input and output program that given an input it spits out the most likely wanted output.
