I see that being one way for someone to live forever, but we see lots of these sci-fi concepts for 100 years in books and on internet, you can also say religions can be a concept in the works of it. This is usually the common human issue we bring our fantasy's into our reality through out time. Alot of old ideas start coming real life problems, we tend to follow our knowledge.
