The "overused arguments" as you mention them have some merit, that's why people ask the obvious when you make your points. You misunderstand how style transfer works. The generated image is not a "1:1 copy" as you mention but a new image, with a new subject that didn't exist before. The AI tries to emulate the style when it generates the new image. It doesn't mean that the artist would create the same image as the AI when they were given the same subject. You can try it yourself by using Dalle or Stable diffusion with any prompt you want. However, being compensated for your art being used in the training dataset is very reasonable. Not that you can claim that the generated art is yours.
