I hope the door gets slammed on this whole thing for a while, then the images I've created AND SAVED will have more value. I'm very deluded! AI does cool things though. I have some tricks but won't share because I'm a human. I will say that if you're using AI just to duplicate known artists, you're a bozo and a creative hack, because there are things the AI will do that are such GIANT time savers for a person that is a 'real' artist, well half-way real, because honestly, a real artist can generate FAR BETTER material than the AI at least so far, at least in fantasy illustration. However, in some areas, AI is much faster and easier than the alternatives, and you'll have to figure out where it is. I'll also say that along with every new artform, I'm finding stuff I've never seen anywhere else. AI is literal, you can tell it to do things that make absolutely no sense, and see what you get. I'll say this much. Its command of composition is no joke, as is its color balance. Not always, but most of the time. I think human artists can actually learn from the AI, though it's also true that many may be dissuaded from the years of toil to become a real illustrator, but I think the truly talented and compelled will still do that, because computer is never the same as materials on paper or canvas or sculpture, plus the one thing computers haven't solved yet is how to make something on screen come out handmade, and canvas prints don't count.
