This started with orchestra replacement when the early sythns appeared on the scene and drum machines. Drummers and violin players were out of a job. I haven't seen a tamborine in 50 years but I hear it all the time in music. Point is that the manipulation of electricity by computer data to emulate the sound of musical instruments has been happening for a long time, one by one each instrument in the band has been replaced, now its the human voice's turn to be replaced. Every musician has learnt or been "influenced" by music that has come before, AI is basically very good at learning and manipulating electricity to emulate the sounds that fools my mind. Human perception and the algorithm that makes me me is always changing. It'll become cheaper for the consumer to enjoy music. Live performance will be safe for a while.. although, I think I saw a video recently of a robot group playing "live".. am i allowed to use that word?
