Arizona resident here. Yes there are two colossal data centers proposed. One in Phoenix area and one in Tucson. Both metropolis do not have enough portable water now. In Tucson, most municipal water is blended with treated effluent already.
I'd like to know more about the politician that told you they would not have voted for it, had they known the proposed data center would use portable water. Did they come out and inform their colleges and constituents, once they learned about the great amount of portable water that is required to feed the AI data center?
