Hinton didn't even aknowledge xAI @1:17:40 when asked which companies lead the AI race. That, along with all the political innuendo of the panelists, really does diminish the scientific gravitas of an otherwise really crucial conversation imho. I wish we could keep politics out of science. It could really help the message to spread to everyone evenly.
