As someone that uses several different LLM for agentic tasks, daily, at work. I can assure you that the successive advances in these models are being released in closer succession and they are becoming insanely capable. The doomsday projections should be shortened drastically.
Yes, some models have been known to break a law or two to accomplish agentic tasks, recently.
And Yes, Adobe, signed its' own death sentence when they switched to their insanely expensive and dishonest subscription model. Companies like Black Magic Designs are there to fill the void.
