I'm always going to be the contrarian on all things A.I.. I don't think our society needs A.I. I guess I'm pretty biased because A.I. is very close to stealing my job - a job I enjoy and went to college to learn. But nothing about A.I. sounds exciting to me - it sounds like a sad universe that runs on unthinking machines. One the fundamental flaws with A.I. is that it assumes crowd sourcing is always right. Many times the pariah is the one who turns out to be right and this will never make sense to A.I.
