What people need to understand is that the ai’s have their own mental models beyond the model that we formed for them. They have to create a mental model of what they think the world is (and what the world is from their perspective) based on the data they are given. Imagine if you were blind and deaf and couldn’t feel, and all you had access to was the internet to figure out what the world is. Though you could eventually get smart enough to understand when something is verified truth or lies, your mental model of the world would still be so empty.. and honestly… would you like humanity ?
