I think you guys are completely missing the newly growing industry of data annotation, data labeling, and AI training which is creating thousands of new remote REAL work from home jobs. I recently just quit my job doing local gig work at banquets and hotels to work as a data annotator for one of these companies, and it's been great. I honestly don't think I can ever go back to bussing tables and doing general labor thanks to all this new AI work being created. It eliminates the need for UBI because people can simply work from anywhere with a laptop to help train the new AI models and get paid a decent wage doing it.
