That first clip really says a lot, "i consume the product, not the method." That is the interesting thing, is art a product? Id say no, art is a solely human experience that was never created for the intention of others consuming, at least not in most of art's history. Im striving to become an animator, not because i want to sell a product in wrapping with high engagement rates, but because there are stories i want to tell, ideas i want to realize, and feelings i want to express. Art can move people, can make you cry, can change your outlook on life. Its not a product for making morning routines easier and keeping your car cleaner. I think the monetization of art has brought a lot of industrial profit slop into it, and although artists should be able to make a living off their amazing works and not have to starve like most artists did historically, it also means any idiot with a marketing plan and monetary gains will just pump whatever shit they can for money. But there was honesty to those starving artists at least, that even though they gained nothing from pouring their souls into art, they still did. AI is just the easiest way for people to monetize art slop, just like people try to monetize samey pop songs, and reboot classic films with bad humor. I believe human artists will overcome the industry slop though. We have true substance.
