You know you're cooked when because of chatgpt you started pursuing machine learning one of the branches which goes jobless alot even before llm's, when now it's overhyped and pursued by basically every other joe not to mention top math/computer science geniuses TRYING to contribute because it's so theory heavy. So you get a half dead market, lots of interested candidates and you don't even know the basics of the language youre coding in. And him not knowing the basics of python screams that he did all of his projects by just prompting chatgpt.And all of that after graduation, that must've really stung him unless this talk is scripted. The fact that he hasn't even seen x : int means he basically treats his generated projects like a true showcase of his skill, which may be true if gpt evolves to the point where it can do everything a human do, but now its not that time
