At age 68 and as an artist and musician for most of my life, I agree with Sam. Where the problem started is.... when the Internet started taking off. I've been online for 25 years and the more time went by, the more I've seen how the culture of wanton copyright infringement based on an essentially adolescent "Hey, it's online, so I can take it" mindset has just become part of it all. This whole A.I. side of it just exponentially worsens it. I'm not anti-A.I. either, I'm geeky, but I also know what it's like to put a lot of time and heart into one's work, be it personal or commercial. Work is work, theft is still theft.
