I don't personally want to see some "war" between AI doomers and e/acc techno optimists as I believe there is a healthy middle ground between the two perspectives. However, you need to understand that e/acc techno optimists hate and disregard AI doomers as basically death cult lunatics. They don't care that you have written 10,000 word forum posts to one another for the last 15 years on lesswrong or read Nick Bostrom's books. They don't care one iota about instrumental convergence, paperclips, or computronium.
If AI doomers are really serious about their perspectives, they need the big money donors to step up and support them to the same degree Andreessen supports his perspective. You need to payoff municipal and state politicians to ban AI, you need big protests, you need to identify people that are actually credible victims of AI technology right now. It will be very difficult though, because all these positions are extremely difficult to sell since most people find AI assistants helpful in their lives and want the benefits so long as they don't lose their job due to the technology.
