AI generated images aren’t art and the people who simply type in a prompt to generate low effort/high engagement slop aren’t artists.
However I do genuinely believe a creative person with a story to tell can use those images to create something more that is actually art. Like how a director uses the works of others to tell their own story and actualize their own vision into a movie, show, play, etc.
