Would cool if auto manufacturers agreed on protocol / device that can be installed on current, non "smart" vehicles. The device would act as a beacon, advertising perhaps the basic specs of the vehicle (length, vehicle type, current speed, etc). This would aid AI in decision making as we transition to a future where all vehicles are able to communicate with each other.
