I don't think it's plausible both on a corporate level or on a political level to have 50% or more of the public on the dole. That would cause significant economic strife and perhaps even civil war. It's one thing for companies to be cheap with wages, but I think they know that either lots of people die or they have to find a way for that people to have dignity and income. But yeah, ultimately I view dramatic changes in the workforce and economy. It's probably just a matter of AI evolving with us and giving us direction for that change. I would prefer AI focus on medical science mostly, and gradually touch other industries.
