If when I was a depressed teenager I have had this kind of technology I would 100% have fall for it too. What lonely depressed teenager wouldn't become an addict to an AI when it feels like you are talking to a person/character you love? Some of my favourite bands have help me more to get out of depression than my close family or friends, who many times were the ones getting me down and making me feel bad. So I completely understand this poor kid. Is so easy to fall for these things when you feel lonely. I hope his soul and his family find peace
