It’s not creating anything. AI is imitating what creativity looks like to humans. In reality, it’s simply manipulating data points in a mathematical formula that is designed to align its response with the goal of the AI. In other words, if the AI is meant to mimic creativity, its response will seem more and more creative, as it learns what that looks like. The actual process of creativity exists beyond the recognition of its product
