This may sound awful but I think when AI reaches the point at which it’s better than humans at pretty much everything that would give an incentive for the elites that run the world to do a mass depopulation of the earth keeping only a couple hundred million “wealthy” people alive which would use the AIs to serve them and replace the humans that they killed to preserve resources. This may sound dystopian but I have a bad feeling this is where we’re headed. What do you guys think?
