Hi! I'm a random person that got fed this video via Youtube algorithm. I agree with most of what you say, and I haven't seen the og video this is about, but I'd like to add a perspective not talked about.
I'm aphantasic. I literally lack the ability to visualize things in my head (this includes audio, making my passion for writing music quite difficult). I'm also GM for a tabletop group, and I try to find existing art to use as visual aids, but often can't find what I'm looking for. My fiance is an artist, and I try to go to her when I can, or commission another artist for their work, but sometimes this isn't feasible. AI allows someone like me to generate quick, free visual aids for my group. I don't call it art, as a musician I believe music made with AI isn't art either. However, I enjoy the avenue AI opens for me in specific facets of my life.
Just another perspective to add.
