I do food deliveries in Sydney for a Chinese company. They have been trying to implement a.i. for order allocations for about a year but it is completely useless. There are too many variables to consider when sending an order. The location of the rider, the general direction and location of existing orders, distances, restaurant waiting times, number of riders on duty, customer waiting times, number of orders etc. etc.
