this scenario is happening in the hi-tech industry, but it will take much more than 5 years to replace most humans in tech, also many non-tech jobs have to have some humanoid or specialized robot to do the job, and the robots industry is not there yet...and it can take decades.
In 1984 Terminator movie was release, it's 2025 and we are not even close to this kind of robot (T-800), almost 41 years after release...
