There's one thing that for sure reassures me with AI, actually, with people consuming the generated content, most people is way more prone to criticize AI art as compared to AI written articles. The reasons are simple, and I will make them even simpler, a lot of AI generated content isn't really "good quality" at all; it's obvious shit, and if you change the media type, you just ask to produce art as compared to analytical text, that becomes obvious to everyone, even illiterate people. Communication is not about being impeccable, it's not about bombarding the internet , if you see me spamming stupid shit in every youtube comment section, i'm not making the world a better place at any time. When we "compete" with AI, we are competing with a statistical model: A generator of content, while spanning horizzontally on possibly any domain, and while growing vertically by means of algorithm improvements, is first and foremost, a "model", it doens't take decisions , it doesn't gather data from multiple senses, it does.. become obsolete as reality changes. AI points to a restricted (and sadly, fixed) set of solutions in a solution space, the more time it passes, the more our society becomes complex, the less that model becomes useful to us. That set of solutions, while growing with the investment in AI from a company, can't obviously grow faster than the fastest growing brain in that company, and is constrainted by all the inefficiencies of AI training , be it for example, requiring terabytes of data and thousands of gpus to produce anything barely meaningful, requiring specialized knowledge and well formatted inputs,, requiring to be fact checked , corrected, validated etc. Now, keep it mind, your brain is not a model, your brain produces models, you are competing with some humans putting their own ideas (in the form of algorithms) in a computer, all it takes for you is to beat a restricted group of persons, the smarter ones in a company,and the castle will fall.
