I'm fascinated by the potential of AI, but I'm also horrified by the notion that our generation might be the first one that says, "Don't worry about it, creative people; we've decided we're fine with the same ideas being regurgitated back at us in proportions determined by statistical analysis." I want a future where technology is an aid, not a replacement, for uniquely human creativity. And a seven-year-old with a box of crayons is still putting more value into the world than a hundred-billion-dollar AI.
