The only thing I don't like about ai art is just simply they making ai learn from copyrighted art without artist consent. Other than that, it's just an other tool. So I think what needs to happen with AI art is, they have to make private domains where they can teach ai using consented art to teach the ai, instead of learning from copyrighted materials. And it should be just a simple other tool, which you could use to lets say straighten lines, or help you upscale images better, maybe help you recolor old black/white photos. I think that is how ai art should be used, to help you draw and fix those pesky lines which otherwise you have to restroke 50 times. And this is my main issue with each ai in production right now, they are making ai for everything so they can do things instead of you, but rather they should make ai to help you create the things you want to make. Maybe it could be used to randomize patterns on lets say shirts, or falling snow, and stuff like that, could be ai assisted.
